The Feasts of Israel are of great importance. They are a testimony to what God has done, and will do for His people. God declared, “These are my appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of the LORD.” Leviticus 23:2. These feasts where to be a memorial to all that God had provided and done on behalf of His people, Israel. These where His feasts. A Harvest Celebration!

The feasts in leviticus 23 were God’s ‘appointed times’. Israel was to look to God and thank Him for all He had provided for them; from the time of the Exodus (Feast of Passover) to the wilderness wonderings (Feast of Tabernacles).
