KIM & COREY WAGNER
Shalom! We’re Corey, Kim and Darrian Wagner. From the time the LORD made us His own, we’ve been eager to find our place in the body of Christ, and after much time in prayer, we felt called to serve the Lord overseas. In the weeks following, we were led into a beautiful relationship with a believing family from Israel. As we continued in prayer, a love for Israel and the Jewish people began building in our hearts. We soon realized our desire to go to Israel and join the ministry of Salt of the Earth. Since then, we’ve visited Israel and have seen the Lord at work in the lives of His people. There is a great longing for peace and hope in the Jewish heart, and a yearning for change in their land. Now more than ever there is a need for the gospel to return to Israel, the land from which it came. Many cry out to the Lord and are praying for Messiah to come! Please pray with us that God would prepare their hearts, as well as ours, for this wonderful opportunity to build genuine, lasting relationships with the love of Messiah.
Passion:
Corey and Kim Wagner have a passion for God and for people. They have a deep desire to see the church be a strong influence in the world today. Discipleship is the key and authentic relationships is the vessel. With 3 years of leader and co-leadership experience in recovery ministry and small groups, they know the hurts that come from dysfunctional relationships and the ‘human condition’. They long to see hurting people find true healing in Jesus. Their heart is to build real and authentic relationships in order to learn and teach how to do life together in a love and grace filled environment, where people can open their hearts and find comfort, love and compassion. This is greatly needed in Israel where grace is lacking and the Jewish heart is hurting and perplexed with God.
Giftedness:
God has given Kim a tremendously compassionate heart and a deep desire for prayer and intercession. She is also gifted with encouragement, hospitality and a giving heart. She has a longing to serve the people of Israel whole heartedly. With Kim’s love for God and for people, she has an ability to create an atmosphere where people feel very comfortable in order to build friendships and let God’s love flow through her and touch their lives.
Corey is gifted in teaching, discernment, organization and has a servants heart. His strength is being able take the truths of the Bible and present them in a way that is effective and challenging to the Christian Faith and walk. He has a deep desire to teach others about the love of God and to help reach the people of Israel with the love of their Messiah.
